The projected date for the Corbin Park Fence Loop Solstice Ride with the Cornish group is Wednesday June 21, 2006. I would expect the ride to start from somewhere in Cornish between 4-6pm and complete the approx 35 mile course in 5 hours give or take. It will most likely be dark well before completion so a light is recommended.

Just wanted to give people a heads up. This is also great warm up for those doing the VT50.

I'll post more details when we get closer.

If I can dump the kids I'll ride it with you. Nathan

Update on the ride. The Corbin Park Solstice ride has been pushed back at least a week due to all the rain we've had. It will not be held next Wednesday the 21st of June. I'll probably have another update next Wednesday.

Ride Update:

I just consulted the ring leader of the Park Fense Ride and the next available slot is looking like either Wed July 5th at 5pm or the following weekend of July 8-9th. How does that work for people and do you have any preference? If we did it on the weekend we wouldn't need lights but Wed would require them as we would most likely not complete the loop until after 10pm.

Wed. night looks good to me, we'd only be using lights for an hour or so. The weekend of 8-9th is a busy one with the Moody race.
I have my 20th class reunion so I wont be racing, but will most likely be very hung over. Nathan

Ok, tomorrow night is most likely decision time for when the Park Fence ride will be. Nathan has expressed interest in Wed July 5th as well as most of the Cornish guys are leaning toward that day, naturally since they usually ride on Wed. The ride will start in Cornish at 5pm. Given Prouty is Saturday and Moody is Sunday I'm guessing no one would be inclined to ride on Sat or Sun, so I'm leaning towards Wed the 5th as well.

Please let me know who is in and if Wed at 5pm is good.

Ryan

FYI, 35 miles, plenty of hills, probably around 5 hours, and lights required for the last hour or so.

I may or may not make the ride, so don't wait for me. If I make it, I'll be there in plenty of time. Where and when (again, please) is the Newport Carpool?

RIDE IS CANCELLED.

Cornish guys are out due to the trails being really bad so I'm out too for now. I will let everyone know when and if the ride is rescheduled.

I may or may not be home in time for a 6pm Pinnacle ride if anyone else is interested.
