Hey Guys,

I know it would be an early start but i need to take what I can get  . Would love another tour of the great Pinnacle. Anyone around and willing to give a new yorker a guided tour?

The "SIX in the Stix" trail run is Saturday. (see above link) There will be someone pre-riding the run route and I think it is Ryan the rockboy. The race is later in the morning than you want to go so it should not be a conflict. Just finding someone as a guide or hooking up with Ryan on his pre-ride. I may be there too.

May not be a good day for a group ride, but a good day for a run.

The PTO is having a 6 mile trail run that day in the forest. Should be a good time. There is a good chance the course will need inspection prior to the race start, and a sweep of the course after its over. This could be done on Mountain bikes.

Brian is chief official with the plan.

The woods will be busy from 10-11:30 or so Saturday morning. Most of the team will be busy with the running of the race. If you do ride, and you are welcome to do so, be very careful if you are still in the woods after 10:00. Ryan will be riding the race loop Saturday morning as a final check of the course markings, you may be able to hook up with him for a six mile loop.

After this race things will free up and dry up and we will be able to give you the full tour.

Fattireb,

I'm planning to be at the high school at 8am to ride the running course and make any last minute clean ups or signage adjustments. You as well as anyone else who is interested is more than welcome ride with me although I might make several stops along the way and will not be able to do an extended ride at that time.

It would be greatly appreciated by all I'm sure, if you do opt to do a longer ride, that you stay off the running course during the time Brian stated.
