I'm looking for some hardy soles to do a little adventuring with on Pinnacle / Coit Saturday.

My ankle is still a little tweaked from Wed night but each day it gets a little better. No guarantees it will be up to the full breadth of my ambitions for Sat but hopes are my hard plastic tele boots will protect it well enough.

Ugly conditions are threatening for Sun night into Monday so it is imperative this ski gets in before then.

Plan is to head out around 10am (but flexible) and spend 3-5 hours out there exploring several different lines in several different places:
- 3 lines off the top of the Pinnacle in 3 different compass directions (moderate to advanced skills recommended).
- head to Coit for lunch on the lookout (BYO lunch).
- 1 or more lines off the top of Coit in different compass directions. Be warned the line I have in mind has not be explored, will likely require advanced skills, have multiple hidden and obvious obstacles, steep pitches, dense trees and branches, and a long difficult climb back to a trail.

If you have skins for your skis, bring them, we will be ascending some steep terrain.

Should you choose to except this mission you are guaranteed to get branches in the face, scratches on your equipment, a very difficult workout, and maybe even a smile on your face.

Let me know if this sounds like your idea of fun.

You guys missed out on a banner day!!!

Below is a little teaser shot from the Coit Lookout. The view is too good not to see with your own eyes, so I'm not going to show it to you. I also added a new Pinnacle & Coit in Winter album here: http://www.team-pinnacle.org/gallery.php?doc=5_15&gnav=248

Looks like a great time Ryan, sorry I missed it.

At the last minute I ended up heading to Mt Cardigan with some friends - it was an absolute banner day. 2' of powder near the summit, and some great skiing in the snowfields and down the trails. After this mess of rain gets past and we get more snow I would recommend putting it on your list.

When the snow hits again (F$@#!'n Rain!!), let's post up for a trip to Cardigan. I'll definitely be up to hit that mountain again.
