Could anyone give their input on the conditions of the trails? Is it real muddy up there? Also, how are the black flies and mosquitos?

Coming up Sat. with a friend and I'm trying to decide on a MTB ride or Road.

Black flies are just about done for the year. Mosquitos however are out in full force and then some. If you are venturing into the woods make sure to use something with a high concentration of deet. There is still quite a bit of water up here, we got hammered pretty hard late last week. The trails I have rode were pretty solid, just have to deal with some running water on the hills and puddles here and there. Compared to the racing conditions you have dealt with, you would probably find trails that have not been trampled by hundreds of riders quite enjoyable.

I'm thinking there may be a Pinnacle ride happening Saturday evening. Stay tuned.........
