For those of you that have not heard, Chad Denning has put together an uphill-downhill series that is a blast and is getting great attendance from many throughout the upper valley.
All four races of the series are in the area: 2 at Whaleback, 1 at Ragged and 1 at Sunapee. They start at 7AM so your exrcise for the day is done and over by 8AM +/- giving you ample time for the rest of the day.
Chad will have a raffle at the last race with a chace to win some skis.
There are many skiing catagories: Skate, Telemark, Alpine, Snowboard, and an open which include running and snowshoe.
I'd like to chanllenge the Pinnacle crew to show up to the final race at Sunapee on March 6th. The course is up the access road to the summit and then down Ridge. Check out the series web site at www.winterwild.com

It sounds like fun. I'll have to check it out online. I may try it with snowshoes and X-C skis.

Go for it Dana.
I don't know what class that would put you in, XC, running or open.
There are many runners that compete, actually I'd say nearly half run. Most us some sort of metal trax on their shoes.
