I have another road ride scheduled for tonight (woods will be on the schedule soon enough). Plan on departing the high school at 5:20pm. Might want to bring your climbing legs along.

Jim,

Some of the group races and are training hard now in prep for the season. Most of this core group is capable of riding a sustained pace over 20 mph but it really depends on the group and how motivated everyone is.

I wouldn't say there is a typical distance or pace, this is highly dependent on the terrain, the group, and the amount of daylight.

I know this might not be the answer you were looking for, so tell us a bit about how you like to ride, or what kind of ride you are looking for and maybe we can point you in the right direction.

The Claremont Cycle Depot group road rides on Monday and Thursday always have enough folks to break it up in to 2, sometimes 3 different crews. Go fast and hard if you want or not... it's up to the individual, and it's no drop.

Rides leave at 5:30 (for now till we get a bit more light, then it's 6) from the shop parking lot. Call 603-542-2453 with ?'s and ask for Jason or Bob.
