I was thinking I'd like to try my hand again at the "400m float" workout that ate my soul back in June. Average pace should be around goal half-marathon pace, but alternate 400's at 10sec above and 10 below pace.
For example... if goal half pace is 6minute pace... that's 90sec laps (average) so you'd run 80/100/80/100/etc. etc. until failure (hopefully that will come around 12 sets in.)
It's a great workout for learning how to cope with surges/recoveries, and pacing under fatigue.
