Met up with Brian (Javy) for our second excursion together throughout the depths of the Pinnnacle and Coit. I'm learning more and more about trail system every time I hit it up - GREAT JOB to who builds all the ST. I'm probably in a small group when I say I enjoy heading to my future in-laws

Not sure of our route but I know we hit tower circle to roots a few times (once going up and once coming down), Bear Trap (just an awsome trail!!!), looped around right at the top to follow the race route then onto the first hundred yards of skunk hollow, right at the skull & feather for a great climb to the top of Coit, then left onto brake burner (liked BB but would prefer to follow around right for the longer switchbacky downhill), then all the way back down to the school. GREAT DAY/ GREAT STUFF!!!! Will be back up at the end of September!!

HEre are some pics I took:

Nice!

Looks like the ladder bridge entrance on Bear trap need a little TLC.

Awesome pictures. Makes me want to go ride there, let me know where those trails are so I can go ride them, looks like fun?

Just kidding, I know where those trails are. The thing I like most about your pictures are they have almost a better than life look to them. They make me realize, I often miss the simple beauty of the trails while cranking down the hills, poking a lung down while climbing, or just navigating a technical section. I think that is one of the things I like about leaving the bike at home once in a while and just going for a walk in the woods.

Thanks! Ryan - I agree! - Most of my pics are normally of my buddies and I riding skinnies, boosting big drops and doing stupid things on bikes BUT every now and then I need to stop and "smell the roses" as they say. Saturday morning was just an awsome day to be out riding and I needed to capture that :!: You guys have some really great singletrack up there in them woods  8) .

Hopefully we can ride together when I'm up at the end of Sept.

Sounds Good Brian, and I'm glad you like the trail system. Post up when coming as soon as you know, perhaps we can hook up this time.

Thanks for riding with me again Bri. Had a blast again. I am also just getting to know these trails. I tried to help Bri through the network of trails, but may not have been that much help. Hats off to the guys who manage this area! (I met PJ the other day...picking up the race arrows). I have also met Dan.

By the way, I am really responsible for the excellent pictures. That's because Bri always had to wait for me to catch up with him...so he had nothing else to do but take some pics!

Hope to see some of you at the VT50!

nice pictures............That was the first bridge we made probably 4 years ago. Time to make a new (skinnier) one.
