I know it might sound second hand to a lot of you out there, but to those who don't know, sleep is absolutely essential to to recovery and muscle rebuilding process. This is also something that can just sneak up on you without you really knowing it, sure you might feel rested or just have plenty of sleep to operate normally for your regular daily activities, until one day you are way over tired and you might not even realize it.

Do you feel worse after taking a day off than you would have without taking a day off, I know I have many times. Bingo, you are probably over tired. Time to cut back on you activities for a week or so or maybe even take several days off in a row and make sure you get regular and enough sleep.

For me at least there is nothing more important to my exercise routine than keeping a regular & healthy schedule of sleep, liquid, and food consumption, abrupt changes to either of these or irregular routines can really mess with your exercise.

Hope this helps someone out there.
