Scout the race course and have some fun. I plan on starting at 7:30 and doing a few laps. Too early? Join in at 8:00 for the start of lap 2. [img:7c60f52a7e]http://www.team-pinnacle.org/albums/bc_personal/120x90.png[/img:7c60f52a7e]

Where the black stuff turns to brown stuff. Park across from the tree farm entry road. [img:7c60f52a7e]http://www.team-pinnacle.org/albums/bc_personal/120x90.png[/img:7c60f52a7e]

Gentlemen and Ladies, I stopped by Webb's this evening for a quick recon lap. If you ride there tomorrow morning, bring bug spray, at least one derailleur hanger, and low expectations. The course is arrowed, but no other trailwork appears to have been done other than someone drove a tractor around the course (no apparent mowing, just drove the tractor). The majority of the course is doubletrack, overgrown with grass up to my knees. Much of the balance is logging slash, and there was maybe two minutes of enjoyable singletrack. If the trails are mowed/weed wacked, blown, raked etc., it will make for a very fast XC course. It's quite dry. If you insist on riding, drive past the tree farm sign, past the open field, then turn left on a gravel road past the farm house. The road turns very sandy, but ends at the start/finish area which is now staked out. I would suggest we meet at the Pinnacle at 7:30. There is no point in riding the course in its current condition. I'll keep an eye on the course, and let folks know when the trail is cleared. Or maybe we will need to clear it? MG

I am convinced.........I ain't going on my 4th of July ride with conditions like that, I would prefer to do Moody seeing how I didn't race, but would opt for Pinnacle as well. There goes our home grown advantage out the window. PJ

Moody sounds good to me too. Is this still a 6:30 start at where ever?

I will be at Moody at 8AM, and meet whomever by the Gravity Cavity. I will park there if its open, Whomever chooses to do Pinnacle may the spirits guide you, sorry to miss ya. Bri, if you are still doing Webb's, enjoy, and I can have jerseys here for you in the AM for Keith and Aaron, if you wish. I will be at Nathans in the Afternoon for refreshments. P dot J dot

8:00 is a far more civilized time. I'll swing by the Lovely's at 7:30 if anyone wants to hitch a ride. MG

I'm in for Moody. Grown fond of the place for some reason lately. [img:7c60f52a7e]http://www.team-pinnacle.org/albums/bc_personal/120x90.png[/img:7c60f52a7e]

Well, I made a critical error and didn't check the board last night. Webb's was everything that Mark promised, overgrown with no single track in site. Hope Moody was enjoyable. Sorry I missed you guys - If anyone is riding this weekend let me know. Aaron
