Ride will depart the High School at 5:30 and feature the 2007 edition of The Pinnacle. All are welcome. Ride with the "no drops" main group or set your own pace on the marked course.

After riding the new sections last night I came away with an even greater appreciation for what Rockboy can do with a few tools. One would think that someone that sits at a computer all day and night typing away would not have the strength of Sampson, but the rocks he an a few friends moved to create this new trail put that assumption away forever. I became curious about how such a super human feat could be accomplished without power tools so I did some research and came up with this site. No doubt this is some relative of Rockboy.

Very interesting Dan.

I have seen several shows on this kind of thing, but not this particular one. One thing that immediately struck me about this video is, it's relatively easy to move large evenly distributed weight once you have it on a pivot, that is no surprise to me, the real question is how did he get them on the pivot to begin with. Of course all of his demonstrations where in ideal conditions and they don't show you how he got the 19K stone there on site in the first place, but it is a great example of what you can do with vision, determination, and manpower.

A 6 ft steel pry bar is my tool of choice, the trick is finding the right spot to get under it, once you've lifted a corner and got it up on something moving it is always easier. You know it's heavy when you bend your bar.

You gotta love it, when a man grows into his nickname.
