Starting begging for a day off. Sept 19th is a Wednesday that is planned to head out to Kingdom Trails for our annual ride around the good stuff.

About 20+ miles of riding, stop and eat on the way home. Carpool.

Stay tuned for more info and post here if you are in.

Looks like I'll have to chaperon another Recreation Dept. trip. I guess someone has to do it.

What other day can you make. Nathan expressed a possible alternate date. the 26th is too close to those doing the VT 50? or is it? the 12th? Wednesday works great as it is at least our day to ride. Lets sort it out soon.

Either 12th or 26th works for me.

I could do either, but would prefer the 26th. It would not have much impact on the VT50 for me unless I break my bike. Dan and Mark may feel different about that though.

I'd prefer the 26th - I will be out of town on the 12th, but no worries if this is too close to the Vt 50 and you need to go the earlier date.

The weather forecast for East Burke, VT shows Tuesday to be a splendiferous day (low 80's, 0% chance of rain), while Wednesday is a bit cooler with a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms.

I can take Tuesday as a vacation day as readily as Wednesday. Would anyone else care to move the ride up a day and guarantee another "best ride of the season"? Ryan, can you make it Wednesday?

I probably won't even stay for the festivities. I am just happy to be going, but I have to be back in town no later than 5.

I figured I could give you guys the burgers, and you could either eat them or not.

We should be all set, I have Wobbly's credit card.

I will pick up a 12 pack of burgers and rolls, cheese and ketchup. You want mustard bring your own, or buy some from the store there....probably some spicy concoctions.

Ken, wear the usual fishnets.

Chicken Little crossed the farmyard and excitedly told the farmer "The sky is falling! The sky is falling!"

The farmer stared at Chicken Little for a moment, and thought "Well I'll be goddamned - I own a talking chicken!"

The farmer thought about the situation further, suspecting his wife would berate him for claiming to have a conversation with a paranoid chicken. He concluded his thoughts with "Screw it, it's not worth the aggravation."

So he killed Chicken Little, and for good measure slaughtered all the chickens in the farmyard - the paranoid conversationalist tendencies may not be limited to just the one chicken. He left nothing to chance.

The chicken was sold to the wholesaler, who in turn sold it to Market Basket, who processed it into various parts for retail sale. Subsequently, Mrs. Gurney purchased a large package of boneless, skinless breasts.

At this point Mrs. Gurney does not know that the package will be available for consumption at the annual Team Pinnacle Kingdom Trails post-ride feeding frenzy, but I'm certain forgiveness will be readily obtained. She can't get mad at all of us at once, can she?

Should be enough to make at least 7 hearty servings. I'll bring BBQ sauce and maybe some extra rolls/bread/whatever else I can steal.

I can never remember - do the fishnets go on first, or the the bibs?

If anyone is wearing fishnet, I should definitely be there with the camera. Never know when a photo like that may come in handy.

Someone should be bringing along lots of Pepcid from the sounds of your menu.
