is it worth bringing up my bike this weekend or are you guys in total mud season? I don't want to trash your trails but would love to get a ride in....

Have not been in the Newport woods yet, but Hanover trails are about 50% bare as of today. Probably be 80-90% by the weekend. A couple bikes will not hurt anything, most of the mud will be found on the double track anyway.

I ran the pinnacle trails on saturday AM, and found quite a lot of snow (especially on north facing slopes, packed snowmobile trails, and shady sections.) I suspect Summer Street will be a mess, but Barton woods (including Ryan's new playground) was drying up quite nicely.

I ran most of the Pinnacle trail system yesterday and found snow, some deep pockets of mud and even a little ice and frozen ground. Summer St. is a ribbon of white. East facing slopes are more clear than West slopes, with tree branches over most trails (although I picked up many of the managable ones). Only a few downed trees that will be easily cleared during spring clean up, which is coming soon so mark your calendar kids.

With Nathan's report Newport doesn't sound promising.

I'm sure Moody Park is a mudbog...

Cornish?
