PJ, Mark, Brian, and I hit the road today. Suprise it turned into a hammer fest: rolling pace line, town line sprints, and leg draining hill climbs, you know, the typical. Yeh, I know it was an easy day right? Not for me. I had a lot of fun though, despite staying between 158-168 HR all the way up 114 into Springfield. Definately put to bed the notion, I'd never be able to achieve a high HR on the road bike. Sure beats a trainer ride any day. The taste of Spring and Summer to come was a refreshing change today. |
