Hi Folks,

We need five volunteers to work as course marshalls at this Sunday's (7/13) upcoming MTB race at the Pinnacle. We'll need you on the course at 10:00, and you should be all done by about 1:00. For your efforts, you will earn the undying gratification of your friends and teammates, and will be awarded a limited edition, soon-to-be-collector's- item tee shirt.

If you haven't helped out yet at a CCD club sponsored event yet, now's your chance to fulfill your club "dues."

Please post here if you're available, or email me at Gurney1@Verizon.net.

Thank you!

Mark

I'll be there to do whatever needs to be done. Marshall sounds good, but if you need me more somewhere else that's fine too.

I'm sure we can get Clif Richer to hang out at the Sandy Lane Gate, camera in hand.

A big thank you to our course marshal volunteers - Cliff, Julie, Sandy, Ryan, Aaron, and possibly Brian V. and Eric - all veterans of today's Prouty, a fine showing by Team Pinnacle and CCD.

Please meet me at the end of the kid's race (about 9:30) at the tent to pick up a radio and your assigned location (with maps). If would be helpful if you can bring a cell phone, and make sure you have my number 727-8015, as a backup to the radio. If a racer reports a serious injury, call me, and I will meet the EMT's and guide them in.

I'm planning that Julie and Sandy will be at the Water Tower. Ryan will be at the end of East Side at the Playground. I'd like Aaron at the end of Summer St. I'll be at the South end of Lower loop. Cliff will be at the end of Cheney St. Brian will be at then end of Snake Alley as it crosses Summer, and Eric will be at the start of East Side.

If you can make it earlier for the kid's race (starts at 9:00), all the better. We need plenty of adults on the short kid's course - we had a young'n wander of course last week at Webb's, despite marshalls and course markings.

Thanks again. I appreciate your help.
