I'm toying with the idea just to get out and go somewhere. Downside is I race at 11:30, making it a pain to carpool. No way I could hide out in the sport class like a couple years ago.

Helen will be going down with me in the truck so likely we would need another driver anyway.

Brian,

The rest of us could move up to Expert (cat 1).

OH, that's right yesterday was April Fool's day

Well, I don't mind arriving right at 11:30am. You could be in your racing gear before we get there and race to the start line. Or, we let you out several miles up the road so you can get a warmup in. That would give us Sports two and half hours to warmup for our race.

Seriously, if I decide to go, I don't mind going early and hanging out to watch you guys race, if other carpoolers are up for it.

I've been watching the weather on this one. Looks like it could be a wet one, Temps in high 40's with periods of rain.

I'll go down if others are going, but not really interested in riding in a mudfest.

Also, I will take my own car, since I'll have to ride straight from the finish to head back home for another event, unrelated to athletics. If anyone is going, I will follow you down to get there before the experts (cat 1) race, if we have any.

I don't want to do a mud race either plus I am coming down with something so most likely I am out for Saturday.

I have had something come up for Saturday that is more important, so I do not have to worry about making a choice.
