Let us not forget that June 3rd is National Trails Day. SRKG is working on the Monadnock-Sunapee Greenway. Is Team Pinnacle doing anything :?:

I am hoping to be out on the Pinnacle with a new bike.

Did the moose steal your old ride?

No, currently I have a very old K2 ProFlex and its not trail rated anymore. I am hoping to pick up either a Trek 8000 or a Klein from Claremont Cycle Depot tonight.

I hope to be helping Ken scratch up his new bike. If the weather cooperates and there is no new bike to help scratch up, perhaps I'll hit the trails, there is some unfinished business up on top of Coit.

Ended up going for a '06 Stumpjumper hard tail from Claremont Cycle Depot. I'll be picking it up today.

I gave Ken and his new bike the full treatment today over some of the nastiest terrain the Pinnacle Trail system has to offer and both rider and bike pulled through with flying colors.

Ken warmed up with a ride over to my house, then we began the assault with Baptist Hill-> PJ Barton-> Old Barton-> Barton-> Pinnacle Bypass-> Pine Link-> Bear Trap-> Outback-> Coit Summit North-> South-> Fall Line-> Boulder Cross-> 3 Rock-> Summer-> Big Rock-> Ledge-> North-> Inner North-> North-> Ridge-> Lower Loop-> to the High School and back to Ken's.

No matter how hard I tried I just couldn't seem to get Ken to scratch that new ride. Did I mention it was raining today so everything was good and slippery too. Oh well, try, try again I say, we'll get that bike broken in before long.

NO MORE EXCUSES KEN, YOU HAVE TO RIDE WITH THE GROUP NOW!
