I am planning to be there. I saw Mike Feeney this morning and he plans on being there too.

My plan is to be there. My one last hard effort before 24HOGG. I might also attempt the Loverin hill climb afterwards. I still need to get that done.

I won't be there this week, I will be enjoying a little rest time prior to the 24 HOGG.

I'm probably going to pass this Wed as I desperately need more mtb time before GG.

Is anyone interested in a night mtb ride Wed? If not I might head over to Cornish.

I'll most likely be at the rte 10 sprint, but recovering from a bad cold, so just showing to be part of the fun.

Ryan, I'd be willing to do a one hour night ride, say 8:30 to 9:30 time period.

Ok Dana, let's plan on that at the Pinnacle on Wed. I will meet you at the HS.

Looks like a ssw wind today anywhere from 7 to 12 mph. Not a good direction for a TT from Grantham to Newport. I'll be riding tonight but most likely not doing the TT for official time.

I am looking at the flag in front of your office. It is blowing NNW.
You might want to keep your time.

If it is favorable I think we should do it.

I had planned on joining in tonight, but a nest of ground wasps decided otherwise. Legs and back are covered with welts, one on each ankle and the left knee causing the most fun. Swollen up quite nicely and limiting motion. Have fun out there, promise I will make this stuff up sometime soon.

Fun and painful as always. Wasn't pushing it too hard till I saw Dan behind me, and there was no way I was letting him catch me.

Not official time due to tired legs and 24HOGG coming this weekend.

Timing starts at Church end of wooden thing at parking lot and ends at School Speed limit sign.

21:10

Ken,

When you get a personal best don't cut it down. Enjoy it. You are only as good as your last ride, not the next one.

Good luck this weekend.

These sprints hurt. Wind was not too bad maybe a little cross and occasional light tail. Did a 20:30 the same as I posted in 07 but I had a huge tail wind on that day and timed to the football tower not the sign and had a rolling start so I guess this is a faster time. Earlier this year I broke 20 min but that day was a favorable wind too and timed to the tower with a rolling start. I think we all had good times today and I have not yet decided if I'll use this time or run again with a nice nnw wind. Looking forward to the 24HOGG this weekend.

Way to Dan, Ken and Mike. We could not catch Mike with the lead he had and according to him a good time. Ken and Dan caught me righy at the ffinish as I cruised in at 22:15.

Just to note that official finish line is the football tower, so you are probably about 5 seconds faster than the times you got. The start is as Ken notes and I've always done a standing start.

If we can get a new official date for this and have everyone, or atleast mostly everyone there, then I would definitely do it again.

Not trying to cut it down. I was very surprised and happy with my time considering how I felt for the first few miles. Just saying that I have no doubt I could do it faster with less on my mind and more gas in the tank.

One big difference between this ITT and the previous Rt. 10 TT, I couldn't see my speed, time or HR for any of it. I just road what felt good. I didn't know what I had for time until a couple minutes after I stopped.

Personal best (1st time I have ever timed it) 25' 35".

Had more trouble riding to the start, trying to keep up with Dana on his new white Madone.

Love my 11 gear.

Mike ... good to hear you talking about your 11 ... I get so tired of hearing about granny-three or other such nonsense ... now all you need is a 55 or a 56 for the front ... then you will be a time trialing animal (so long as you can push that MONSTER gear)!
