Hey all. Had a wonderful ride at Pinnacle today in the awesome weather. But, did Bear Trap get hit by a crazy windstorm or something? I moved half a dozen downed, busted-off trees off the trail, and there was one I couldn't move. Not a big tree, maybe 4-5 inches thick, but still rooted slightly. too high to ride over, and too long to swing out of the way. It'd take about 1 minute with a pocket saw. Just wanted to let you all know, in case someone's bringing a saw out that way.

Love the work that's been done on Vance's, by the way. The smooth bermed switchbacks are amazing.

Is it near the bottom? so we can run up with a chainsaw from there? I got rid of 2 yesterday.....a huge one on the way to the Pinnacle and one on barton woods.

Thanks for the update.....if its close to bottom I will snag it today, if not Ryan brings his trusty saw on rides.

It's quite near the middle of the trail, unfortunately. But it's just a pine, maybe 5 inches thick, so a hand saw would rip through in a minute or less. I'll bring my pocket saw next time just in case!

Thanks for the heads up and for removing the debris you could. We all appreciate your efforts.
