[b:fd328e4756]If anyone has missed the post hidden in MTB Rides, there is a big Clean up day happening tomorrow Tue 11/10/2009.[/b:fd328e4756] We will be blowing the trails and cleaning up any fallen debris. If time permits we will also finish Phase II of the new Eastside Extension project.

Anyone willing to help is encouraged, we currently have 3 different Time slots available to meet up at as follows:

9:30 am at Ryan's house. The early group will hit the North end & Coit, possibly get some GPS data for the new map as well.

2pm at the High School. We will organize clean up teams based on who Shows up and how many blowers we have. You are encouraged to bring a rake incase there is not enough blowers.

3:30pm at the High School. Again teams will be organized based on who shows and what is left to do. Please bring rakes or blowers incase we can not get enough for everyone.

Went to the High School at 2pm, but didn't see anyone, so I started raking. I raked all of South Boundary, all the way up to where it meets Summer St/Snake Alley. Looks in pretty good shape now!

Saw a couple people with leafblowers walking up Snake Alley, the bottom of which also looked very nice.

Thanks a bunch to whoever else was out there!

I didn't see anyone else around at 2 either, so I grabbed my rake and did Lower Loop and Trapper. At 3:30 I met up with Jesse back at the parking lot and PJ led us up to Summer St. where Ryan and Ken surrendered their blowers to us. With the exception of the two little connectors from Barton Woods down to Summer St. I believe everything on the east side of Summer is clean... also Salem's Lot and Fern Alley.
Happy Trails :)
-Adam

PS. I'm absolutely lovin' the looks of the Eastside Extension!!!

Wow Adam, you and Jesse must have kicked butt after I left you.

We all very much APPRECIATE everyone's help today / tonight.

It is a big job but the trails will really be sweet now.

Yeah sorry about that. As it turns out it was a banner year for leaves and it took us a lot longer than anticipated to do the north end and Coit.

I called PJ a little after 2 and he headed over but it looks like he missed you. You did the right thing thou, thanks for helping out, every bit counts.

Thanks to all who helped with the clean up. Normally something I love to be part of, but like Nathan work was calling. Can't wait to check it out and get in a quiet, non crunchy ride.

And remember, today is the start of rifle season and we have many hunters that share the same woods we ride. Try to avoid mornings and evenings the next couple weeks and wear something bright. This is especially true if you venture north of the water towers.

Ledge, Foliage, Whip N spur, roots, and tower circle are done, which means everything is pretty much done ( except North Boundary and Forest).

Good work.......and thanks.
