24 solo huh? Is it so you can hear the obligatory "good job solo" 268 times per hour?

I'm out this year. My big race this year is the Shenandoah 100.

Jason, It's true, I like the yellow number plate better than the white. I also want to be on the course whenever you are so I can pull for you.

I appreciate that... sounds like the double lap at 2am just got a bit better! :D

Who is in for teams this year? I'm in for 12 Hour Solo and we know that Dan is in for 24 Hour Solo. What else do we have? I heard rumors of Greg Burbridge getting involved.

I'd like to know who is racing this year.

I have a light, if anyone needs it. It should run for all night laps. Longest tested time is 5 hours. It mounts to handlebars or helmet. First to reply here can use it.

I'll bring the fire pit again this year and some wood but others should throw some wood in their vehicles too.

I am starting a petition to encourage Mark to come join in the 24hour fun I think that if nothing else comes up he should do a 12 hour solo alongside Ken. As the current President of the CCD Club his presence is imperative since he is our leader and moral compass in all things bike.

All those in favor please sign up to support this petition.

Another option, there are also a few teams looking for a fourth rider via the race forum.

Ahhhh, it's nice to be wanted; thank you.

Chris is doing an indoor track racing (indoors, fixie, no brakes) championship this weekend, so I'm now in for the Solo 12.

Ken, you are very polite, but I don't think you'll be chasing me unless you are referring to lapping me.

See y'all Friday.

Cheers,

Mark

Petition signed.

Good luck to all the CCD members heading to GG this year. Forecast is looking good and I can't imagine the trails not being the best you've ever seen, should be some fantastic riding.

I was hoping to come be a spectator this year but alas I'll be headed to Maine to celebrate my Dad's birthday and of course riding the Solo 24 minutes of Lake Sebago (mtb). Ride finishes with a beer and a dip in the lake (which ever comes first). :D

May your bikes be fast and your bodies free of injury.
