We are looking for a few folks to help out with the upcoming trail race. Two folks are needed to run a water station at the corner of Summer street and Pinnacle. One person is needed to inspect the course the morning of the race, this can be done with a bike. And one person is needed to sweep the course, could be the same person who does pre-race inspection. All can help out with the kids race. If you can help out, please post here.

Thanks, Brian

I'll most likely be doing the EFTA Sterling Sizzler in CT the following day, so I won't run Six in the Stix, making me available for duty.

Are you still looking for help? I'll check with Sandy to see if the two of us can run the water station for you--or anything else you might need us to do. Just let me know...Julie.

Julie,

Thanks for offering your help. Looks like scoring is the area mostly likely in need of help. Very simple task and it only requires you being there from 10:00-11:30. If you wanted to stick around to assist with the kids race that would be great also.

Here is the update..........

Looks like we are in good shape for volunteers, thanks for all who have offered to help. If anyone had thought about running the race, thinking about you Gurney and PJ, please feel free to do so. As it stands we have the following:

Dan and Dana - Water duty. Be in the woods setup by 10:10. Supplies will be waiting at the football field.

Ryan and Nathan - Pre-race course inspection by bike, others are welcome to join in.

Nathan - Race photoghrapher

Ryan and ? - Course sweep

Julie and Sandy - Scoring

PJ and me - Reg, start/finish line setup, awards ceremony

Anyone still available - kids run and tear down.

This should all be complete by 1:00pm or so.

Thanks again, Brian

My plan was to race it and then help with the kids race.
