Well, the MRI and X-rays confirmed it - I tore some ligaments in my left wrist, and got some bones floating free and easy - until they grind against each other. This Friday's the day for surgery to reconstruct them. After that - two weeks in a splint and sling until the stiches come out, then 8 weeks or so in a cast, then another surgery to remove the pins that will be in there holding everything together. After that comes rehab. Woo Hoo!

Looks like no teaching spinning until after the 1st of the year. Might have to double-dip with PJ's or Erin's classes in the afternoons to get back into shape quicker.

On the bright side - no diaper changing for a couple of months!

Joe,

Sorry to hear that you have to have surgery on the wrist. Doesn't sound like there is any shortcut to healing with a cast on it.

I hope all goes well.

Best wishes, Dana

I think he did this on purpose to get out of the diaper task.
