Nice article with Brian and P. J. mentioned in todays union leader.
It makes running in the woods sound like fun. Would "new runners" include rusty old dudes in thier 60's on social security?

Thanks for the link Dave. And yes, new runners include old dudes who occasionally plunge through the ice on their bikes.

Yup Brian, plunged thru twice yesterday. Once on the bike and once just standing there looking over the flat single track. The water is close to knee deep but still quite cold. Words from a "not so wise" old dude "Keep away from Cat-o-nine Tail trails" in the marshes.
Today is the millenium mile in Londonderry, about 900 runners running downhill for a mile. Wish the Pinnacle was like that seeing were with the new date I'll be there.

Dave,

Pinnacle has a nice ~2 mile downhill run... it just happens to come at the end of the 6 mile Six in the Stix trail run. Well it's predominately downhill.

So, Ryan where is this trail you are talking about?

Starts at the top of the Pinnacle and ends at the High School. There is no single trail, the route is up to you but no matter which way you choose it's well over a mile mostly downhill from the top of the Pinnacle to the high school and over 400 vertical feet.
