I have a question (that could be stupid). I would like to set up my trainer with a "new to me" road bike (trek) that has a Bontrager quick release. The quick release is "flat" and has no "knob" to seat within the trainer clamp or receptor. The trainer clamp is round and would accept a circular knob, but cannot accept a linear quick release. Am I making sense?

Do I need to switch out my quick release for one that has a knob at the end, or is there some kind of adaptor?

I'm confused. Any help would be appriciated.

Thanks,

Brian

I had a similar problem and had to pick up another skewer at the bike shop.

Yup, get a new quick release, that's you're best option, perhaps your only option.
