Hey everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that Steve Liebold, the 'stix' racer who was taken to New London hospital for heat stroke, made it home OK. They had to ice him down and give a few IV's of fluid, but he should be back to 100% after a few days of rest.

Great job to Mark Gurney and the EMT's for helping Steve in the woods.

Thanks for the update Aaron. The cogs are already turning on how to make improvements in how we discover and respond to a situation like this in future events.

On the ironic side, Steve won a hydration pack in the post race raffle.

I heard that our water volunteers Julie and Sandy played an important role in helping this runner too.
